3D Printing and Scaning Services

The Laboratory of Machine Elements & Machine Design, provides high-tech services in the field of Additive Manufacturing – 3D printing, supporting innovation and the creation of pioneering products through the design and manufacture of components and mechanisms.

Service capabilities include metal and plastic printing as well as specialized design and production support. In addition, we provide 3D scanning of objects, completing the range of possibilities of the laboratory.

Metal Printing

Production of metal objects from a variety of metal materials such as steels, nickel alloys, titanium and others.

Maximum dimensions per piece are (WxDxH) 250 x 250 x 330 mm

Plastic Printing

Production of plastic objects from a range of materials based on polyamide PA12.

3D Scanning

The HDI Advance structured light 3D scanner provides the ability to digitize objects ranging  from a few millimeters to a few meters.

Mycrona’s CMM Magnus machine 3D provides scanning accuracy greater than 2μm in 3D and 1μm in 1D, through optical and tactile measurement methodology.
